Europe Day at Nursery School
EU values are shared
by member states in a society where inclusion, tolerance, justice, solidarity
and no-discrimination prevail. These values are an integral part of our
European way of life: at nursery school we talk about them through a
masterpiece by Luis Sepúlveda: “The seagull
and the cat”.
A masterpiece that still today, for young and old people,
teaches solidarity, loyalty, friendship and love for the other, the
different : True love is that which does not change the diversity of
the other. In Sepúlveda’s work, halfway between a fairy tale and a
parable, there are also many themes that in 2020 fill the debates and the
front pages of newspapers. First of all, a problem such as that of the
pollution of the seas and the need to respect the environment and animals.
